I specialise in Velocette engine repair, machining and restoration for classic Velocette motorcycles.
Below is a guide to my current prices for engine work, crankshaft repairs, cylinder head machining and specialist Velocette components.
Pricing Information
The prices listed below are the total you pay. I am not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.
All materials and workmanship are guaranteed for three months from the date of invoice.
Please note that I cannot guarantee faults relating to original Velocette components, as these machines and parts are now over 50 years old.
Prices for new items are fixed. Prices for repair work are estimates, based on experience. If additional issues arise during the work, I will contact you before proceeding.
Important Notes
• I only accept removed engines and gearboxes for repair work.
• For bottom end work, please send the bottom end assembly only, plus the piston if balancing is required.
• For engine or assembly collection, I can provide a secure wooden transport case delivered to your address free of charge.
• Bought-in components are genuine Velocette parts, for which I am an accredited distributor.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work.
If a job requires a significant amount of bought-in parts, I may request a staged payment.

Most of the work I carry out is on Velocette singles and twin engines, restoring worn components and improving reliability while maintaining the character of the original design.
